“Working with Manon was a dream.
She listened carefully, came to understand exactly what I wanted and was wide open to feedback.
She produced her artwork with such a non-defensive, generous spirit that it made dialogue about it very easy.
The mural she produced for the Bowdoinham Public Library is now a town treasure, and so is Manon.”

In the summer of 2007, I was approached by Josh and Bruno about developing a logo for
their new gelateria, "The Gelato Fiasco". They were imaginative and ambitious, and we worked hard
to create a logo and visual identity that would give them solid standing as an emerging business.
Morphée Creative helped develop wholesale packaging that would display the beauty of their product,
now sold at multiple locations in Maine. The interior of their flagship store needed to reflect their
position as experts in the field, so we developed the "archeology of taste" concept.
Each work of art was created to reflect specific moments in history, and represent gelato's
importance within that period. From ancient Egypt to the Mayan empire, each piece was "discovered"
during Josh and Bruno's travels, and collected, along with the finest ingredients.
Locally Known is the largest organic farm in the Northeast, located along the shores of Merrymeeting
Bay in Bowdoinham, Maine. Locally Known's goal is to provide the East Coast with readily available,
regionally grown, organic produce. Morphée Creative was approached by the founders in 2008, and
presented with the task of developing a range of labels that would reflect Locally Known's
regional focus, while retaining their existing brand identity. We chose to keep the existing logo,
and the arugula leaf border, to maintain the identity over several label incarnations.
Morphée Creative also helped develop a winter Brand for the organic greens packaged by
Locally Known, Solstice Salads. The ranges reflect the Merrymeeting Bay area's lush vegetation
and luminous skies, and are portraits of the Locally Known farms landscapes.
Locally Known greens can be found at Whole Foods and other retailers in the Northeast.
Located in Midcoast Maine, the town of Bowdoinham was looking to renew their
image with fresh web-design and a town logo. The new identity needed to feel timeless, and be
able to incorporate variants for various aspects of town life, such as the farmers' market.
Morphée Creative came up with a logo centered on the historic town hall, a timeless font
while maintaing the same green color as the town's existing green logo.
Then the town website was also redesigned, incorporating the new logo as well as a more
contemporary framework.
